Farmers houses in Nevada? Boy, that guy is confused. 75% of Nevada is Public Lands and Quail is a good hunt here. You may also like Chuckar hunting. Chuckar inhabit steep hillsides and the best way to hunt them is to park your truck in an open area, walk a hillside closeby and get ready to shoot as you return to where your truck is parked, because guaranteed thats where they have all run to. Pretty, smart birds.

Drive up to a farmers house a couple days before your hunt (Not the same day). Introduce yourselves and get to know one another. Then ask about hunting there. If they say no, dont take offense, just thanks them for their time. If yes, your in. If you hunt their property bring them a couple birds if you are successful. This could get you coming back year after year.
You could also find some state land to hunt on. Only problem with this is possible over hunting.
