Drink lots and lots of water. Someone once sugested to me that eating nothing but green vegies and fruit really do a great job of helping you loose weight.. Personally I think that only works because it's so much fiber that your ...expelling.........waste.... if you know what I mean...

Weight is just a number and you should not be obssessed with numbers. What is more important for your health and well being is the amount of body fat you are carrying. I am sure you would rather weigh say 130 lbs with 18% bodyfat than 120 lbs with 25% bodyfat.

To have a bodyfat composition that is healthy - about 20% for women - you will need to do 3 things. First, watch your diet. NOT diet. By that I mean watch what you eat and try to eat unprocessed foods as far as possible. Avoid highly processed snacks, stick with whole grain breads, lots of fruits and veggies etc. Second, do cardiovascular training like running, swimming cycling etc. If you are grossly overweight, start out slowing to build up your level of fitness. Third, do some resistence training. These three steps combined will allow you to maintain a healthy body composition, even if you do weigh the same eventually.

Just eat healthy.. no proccessed foods like chips or even things you might think are healthy like say"lean pockets from the freezer isle." Cut down on carbs but still eat at least one a day so you have energy. Only enough sugar that you really NEED to have to stay alive and millions of vegetables and some fruit. exercise no more than a couple hours a day or you will need more and more food. deff. don't skip meals. the trick is not to eat in between meals. Just breakfast, lunch, and dinner. the biggest meal should be breakfast, lunch should be med. sized, and dinner should be the smallest. Thats what i did. it was almost bathing suit time. ALSO... sign up for a class of some sort to keep you motivated. I chose ballet. I lost almost 15 lbs in about a month. (i wasn't that big to begin with though anyways. ) And, i chose pilates as my excersise. try it it really works.



p.s. i have to warn you.. stay away from intaking a bunch of energy drinks. They give people heart attacks if they drink them too much.. and don't take caffene pills either. if you do you're just killing yourself. it hurts your heart really bad..(i know from watching ppl)

and.. don't go on an all liquid diet because then you aren't getting the right nutrients to lose weight, just to starve, so then once you eat a little bit of food your body is afraid it might start to starve again and stores it all as fat and then you're bigger than you were before.

The most effective way to lose weight for women is to multiply your current weight by 10 for your caloric intake and stick by it. So if you weigh 150, eat 1,500 cals. per day. You can look online for a calorie calculator to find out how many calories are in each food. Keep track! List everything everyday for a few weeks and then you prob. won't have to look stuff up anymore. No need for cardiovascular exercise to loose weight, but you need to lift weights to maintain muscle(so you don't lose muscle weight and look flabby). If you don't like gyms, just do push-ups and dips against your couch, and a few lunges everyother day. If you cut your calories any more drastically, you will only loose water weight and will gain it back.

#1 is EAT HEALTHY.
Don't buy into a diet that cuts important nutrients from your daily intake, or starves you. Don't load up on one thing to compensate for another. Keep your system balanced. That is THE BEST diet you can have. Drink plenty of water... exercise... Anything else can send your body into shock. Avoid a lot of these advertised "diet pills" b/c most of them are made out of synthetic chemicals that could have an adverse affect on your body.
Just eat healthy & exercise. Even a 15 min walk every day will show results!!!

Diets do not work. 99% of people gain the weight back. Here is how it works. No one teaches the animal what to eat and what not to eat. He knows instinctively what to eat. Humans also have the same instinct. The way it works is just eat whatever tastes good and that will be healthy for you and non-fattening. That is why a baby tastes everything. So again whatever tastes good, is good for you. This is why you will spit out spoiled milk.

But wait!!! Man has the technology to create rat poison. It tastes like healthy food (good taste) but kills the rat. So man has done that to you. Note- any food unaltered by man (uncooked) that tastes good, is good for you. So if you are stranded in the woods, that is how you know what to eat (cooking changes that). So man has created fake fruit. It tastes like fruit that exists in nature but it is terrrible for health, addictive and fattening called sweets.

So it is natural to like real sweets called fruit, like a baby does, but they have fooled you just like the rat. But they do not want to kill you. They want you to become obese so you will buy lots of their foods. This is called GOOD BUSINESS.
