Okay, my male Budgie, who its under 4 months was trying to mimic an older budgie and tryed to climb and get on his swing. But, he failed, and now, is too scared to come down. Im also too afraid to put my hand/finger in and bring it down. I tried calling his name, rubbing his tummy, and even putting his perch closer to him. He won't come down!

Leave him to settle down and find out where every thing is in the cage. He will take about 24 hours to settle down and become fiends with his cage mate. Good luck. My web site may help with care sheets

Maybe try some food as a bribe? Or get the older budgie to demonstrate how to get down and show that it's safe. Maybe cover up any hard areas of the cage with soft material, so it won't look as scary.

I'm not sure...these are just suggestions. I'm not a bird expert...

If you don't want to use your hand or finger, try a pen or something finger-like. Apply gentle pressure against the base of his tummy above his feet and he will eventually lose his grip of the cage and will be forced to perch on the pen. Then gently place him back on the perch and you can go to sleep!! Make kissy or shushing noises all the way through, it may help, or I'm just crazy.

He will be ok and get down when he's ready! He will find his own way. New/young Budgies are fearful, but trust me,he will come down when he's thirsty/hungry.You will probably find, if you go out of the room for a while,he will be down!

Since it is night time just leave him be, he will not 'fall' and hurt himself. I've had budgies that have fought over the right to sleep hanging to the side of the cage, since they thought it was the best place to be. Let him sleep.

just keep talking to him and eventually he will relax and then just grab him gently and put him on his perch. if he bites you it doesn't hurt at all. i use to have one and i was afraid to touch it because i didn't want it to bite me but my husband made me put my finger to his beak and he started to nibble on my finger and to my surprise it didn't hurt. like i said just keep talking to him remember he is only a baby he can't hurt you just be very gentle. i hope this helps!!
