I was trying to find out what kind of pills they were because my mother took them. I am curious about what they actually were because our family think that they altered our mothers mind. Does anyone remember them?

i dont know the name of them, they inspired the song mothers little helpers by the rolling stones and they were amphetamines. they were still prescribed in the 70s and was probably the best speed i ever did. i dont know what the chemical was, but after the mid 80s it was banned in the us. they used to be in tablet and capsules form. on the black market they were called crosstops, robin eggs, yellow jackets, ect. it was the same ingredient in all of them. hope this helps.
