First of all.... as hard as it is to hear, you are only 13! It is great that you are exercising, but you don't need to be too caught up in your weight. Over the next few years, if you eat healthy and keep active, your body will do what you want it to.
You should consider joining a school sport or a dance class... it's a great way to stay active and you can have lots of fun too!

Try the southbeach diet, it's a healthy way to eat and if you can talk your parents into buying the dance dance revolution video game and matt, if you do that game every day for 30 mins to 1 hour you'll get a lot of cardio everyday and that helps you burn fat.
Tell your parents to look up dance dance revolution and weight loss :) there's plenty of information documenting it.

There is no such thing as losing weight at the same body part you exercise. Weight comes off uniformly off your body. So if you do sit-ups weight will come off everywhere, not just your tummy. Just keep dancing and don't drink beverages with calories, so maybe just drink water. Eat lots of fruits, veggies, and whole-grain food (like oatmeal) and you'll feel great!

If you really want to loose weight and are being honest about the dancing and sit ups the next best thing to do is eat less carbs, examples are (rice, bread, flour, pasta, patatoes,) and those type of things. Eating lots of carbs can slow your metabolism so try that and see if that helps.

Sounds like you are pretty active. Now it's time to look at your diet. You don't have to eat rabbit food all the time.
But you do need to eat healthy. Cut out some of the fat and with what your doing it should work.
