Today I was sitting on a wall with my best (girl) friend (my crush) and another friend and I wanted to get closer to her, but it seemed kinda weird. At one point she put her bent arm out and leaned on my shoulder, but I think I'm just really bad at this stuff. How should I do it (arm on shoulder, round waist/shoulder, hold hands) without seeming like a total idiot? I feel like if I just do it , it would be weird. I hope you understand what I mean, and I would appreciate any tips.

When my best friend (a guy) and I went to a movie back when I was 18, he made his move by putting his arm around me...behind my neck. So then I didn't pay much to the movie but kept thinking "what does this mean?" ha ha...then we had to have a conversation on the way home about it and decided we would be bf and gf.

I would ask her! Say something like " I really like you - would you mind if I put my arm around you" - then you know straight away, and no embarrassing nonsense.
If you prefer not to ask (or don't think you can), don't just grab her! Gently touch her hand with yours - you'll make your point without looking desperate, and she can easily take a hold of your hand, or move her hand away without making a scene if she doesn't want to.
Better that than if you put your arm round her waist unannounced and she jumps away from you...(she'd fall off the wall!).

I would say start off with putting your arm around her shoulders, and if she seems cool with it or rests her head on you then try putting it down by her waist. Don't go too low though because she might think you just want a piece of as*.

put your arm on the ground while your sitting and then slowly move it around her and then after that you'll know what to do next whether it's bringing your arm back or holding hands

You should slowly, and quietly, imply that she's pretty or that you like her when you talk with her. She was testing you, boy. That';s what some girls do. They put their hand on their shoulder or somehting like that. Do the same to her. Test her. Good luck with your answers.

When you're talking to her, try putting your hand on her leg. I like that, and if I am into the guy, I reach out for his hand.
