Is it cool to be married ? I mean what can you obtain out of it; yeah sure your life long sweet hart, someone to share your life with. Being single has benifits such as the freedom of movement, being your own boss, only having to do what is needed for you; for you health, mental awareness emotional strings.

Better. You don't have the worry about whether you can get someone to go with you to any event. You don't have to worry about whether she'll like what you wear (she'll help you pick it out). You have someone who's on your side no matter what. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with being single -for some people it's the best thing. You have to be ready to be married. However, if you have found the person you can live with & want to live with more than anyone else, marriage is better for your health & emotional well being.

Being single has as much merit as being married. It is up to the individual to make a decision as to what they feel is right for them. We all look for different things in marriage, some, a person to share their life with, some for companionship, some for the knowledge that they don't have to "be out there presenting themselves all the time, someone to be comfortable with, someone who shares the same values, thoughts and ideas in life, etc., etc.. To many to list. Being single gives you the ability to make all your decisions on your own without the need to take into consideration a partners needs or wants, the ability to do what you want when you want, etc., etc.. .

How about guilt free sex all the time without the worry of STD's? How about always having a date for Friday night, and Saturday night. How about having two incomes and only one mortgage. How about health care discounts. How about a longer life span. How about having someone to share your dreams with. I could go on and on but I'll conclude with this...
How about never having to set foot in a nasty, smoky singles bar full of losers who are so self centered they can't keep a good relationship going and are thus always on the prowl for the next passionate fling that inevitably ends up with more heartache than pleasure.

Being married is great, if with the right person. I didn't have a problem with being single. I was very content, and happy. Love came to me by surprise. I don't think anyone should get married till they are at least 35 or more.

Some people say that married people live longer, but I don't think so.
Think about it, if you are single, then you don't have to listen to someone tell you that you can't stay out as late as you want to or that you can't eat what ever you want or not to look at porn on the TV or computer.
Also being single you can travel at a moments notice if you want to.

Being married is cool because if your a guy you have someone to pick up your dirty clothes of the bathroom floor for you and if you are a girl you don't have to have sex anymore. The mutual advantages for both genders is neither of you has to worry about what you eat anymore and you never have to workout again in your lives - except in the case of divorce.
When my brother got married it was the second happiest day of his life. The happiest day was of course the day he finalized his divorce.

Not much... there are couples living happily together for ages... but as soon as they get married - the problems start to appear. Why? Each other starts to "request", "ask", "demanding" things that before were a compromise.
Marriage is great if you still act as lovers and a "dating couple".
