Try using Dvd Shrink it gives you plenty of options, you can remove unwanted video files extras you can ajust the percentage between menus and the main movie and extras or you can remove unwanted subtitles, sound modes, or just re author so you have no menus or extras and just the main movie.

DVD shrink can be found at

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_...

just click on the download link, you will be re-directed to another site a pop window will appear asking you do you want to download click yes, it doesnt take long to download its a fairly compact program.

I use it for all my backing up needs and it allways produces very good results, even at lower percentages. And I would notice if it was bad , I am watching on a very unforgiving 42 inch panasonic plasma.

But don't bother with the setting that lets you adjust the sharpness it is rubbish, produces very poor results ( it isnt selected by default )

I usually get settings no lower than, 70 % but it is usually over eighty. you can even split your dvd by setting chapters and using 2 disks. but unless the movie is really long you shouldn't need to do that.

In addition it is automatcally setup to burn with nero burning rom once it has finished processing your Dvd, so no other changes would needed to your setup that way.

Also Dvd decrypter is a good program to use to copy and remove css encryption to your hard drive.

If you would like Dvd Decrypter try downloading here -

straightforward answer isn't any, however the degree of distinction relies upon on the participant, your imaginative and prescient, the place you sit down and the type, length and high quality of the television. DVDs on a competent upconverting DVD participant over HDMI output will look fairly on the component of Blu-ray on maximum HDTVs. The smaller the television demonstrate the fewer distinction you will see. On an SDTV Blu-ray will grant no income. A contemporary DVD participant over element cables (purple/blue/eco-friendly triple RCA) will teach a miles better distinction (vs Blu-ray) and a usual DVD participant over composite cables (yellow RCA) will look heavily poorer. That mentioned, Blu-ray will constantly be a minimum of incredibly (and now and lower back heavily) greater effectual than DVD by way of fact the disks are plenty greater determination and upconversion won't be ready to put in component that isn't there. yet submit to in techniques that no longer all Blu-ray disks provide the superb crystal sparkling photograph it is likewise possible to work out on demos in shops. in fact maximum video clips are not virtually that good for quite a few motives. the nice and comfortable button is blu-ray is a top type HD format for those prepared to pay the top type fee and able to income via distinctive characteristic of excellent kit. nearly all of consumers would be fairly happy with DVDs, it incredibly is why Blu-ray is only in approximately 20% of properties.

look for this DvDPlatinum Xcopy, its fantastic, does everything you need in one click. They were subject to an antitrust lawsuit in the usa and forced to stop producing it. You can find downloads out there though :)
