there arent much girls that play golf so are they automatically on?

it's a coed team, with only 2 girls currently on it

Not for the golf team but you do to make the top five that play in tournaments.

it depends on whether or not there is a seperate team for guys and girls. At my school its one team and the girls have to tryout with the guys straight up from the same tees and play just as good as the guy members. If its a seperate team then it depends on how many go out.

It's hard to say. From personal experience there weren't many female golfers when I was in high school in the early '90's. Every girl that came out made the team. We only had one but some schools had a few. I don't know how it is today but we had 2 different 'flights' one for boys and one for girls.
