It doesn't matter whether someone is doing you a favor or not.
If we are going to be a nation of laws, then everyone needs to follow those laws. Immigrants (illegal or legal), citizens, workers, leaders, elected officials. Everyone.
The ends, however noble, do not commonly justify criminal means.

They aren't doing anyone a favor. They get paid for the work they do. The only one benefiting from all this is the Americans that draw government assistance to sit on their butts instead of working. Because they are afraid to do any job that involves getting your hands dirty or sweating.
I also agree with the other fellow. This is a nation of laws and if you don't respect the rule of law you don't belong here. If you do respect the rule of law and earn your keep, I'd welcome you no matter where you are from.

They want to work (and that's good). If they are legal, no
problem. Illegals need to go thru path to be legal. They
come here and have their babies which immediately
become US citizens (bad law). They get government
handouts, insurance, free schooling, and we taxpayers
have our hard-earned money go to raising their children.
They don't honor our flag. They don't want to learn our
English language. They don't care about our laws. They
will protest in mass against US. They move into a neighbor-
hood and don't take care of their house or yard and immediately
the whole neighborhood homes drop in value, they commit
more crimes percentage-wise. Now, are they still "doing a
favor to all of us"? The correct answer is no. Wake up!

They diversify the US, which is what US is made up of. They do not pose any threat..
Why are many americans opposed to illegal immigration when all other laws are being broken too..
I mean why wont somebody protest against child molesters, rapists, Drug trafickers, Serial killers who often turn out to be Legal residents or at least terrorism which is the major threat to US?
Why is Immigration Law the only law that is burning issue?

Excuse me! They doing us a favor? What planet have you been living on for the last 25 or so years! Everybody can see that America needs help and the immigrants are the last thing it needs-all I see is more crime than ever, more problems than ever, less money than ever, less room than ever (I could go on for hours!) America is already way over populated and the last thing we need here are more people!!!PS go back to school, your English needs help!

the imigrants arent doin any favors. they have plenty of buisness here but they only hire "their own kind" and all the money they make they send back to their families in their "home land". thats not helping the us AT ALL. so, fallow a simple rule that many countries have. get citizenship and there is nothing to fuss over.. seriously.. lazy people

Most people accept the positive contributions immigrants make. Those same people expect them not to break the law.
