We have been dating for over 3 months and I want to thank his parents without doing anything cheezy like flowers or a card, but I also dont have the budget to do anything extravagant (they have money anyway). Any good ideas to something maybe creative or heartfelt or thoughtful? Thanks!

How about helping them do things in their house? Or helping them with their garden?? Stuf like that doesn;t cost money. Maybe cook them a nice meal?

Do something from your heart. A hand-written letter is a wonderful way of saying thank you. Do them a good deed like: Wash their cars, help with their gardening, if they have younger kids give the parents a night off for a date. They must be thrilled to have someone as caring as you.

Good luck

I think inviting them over for a nice meal and giving them some good old hospitality would show that you like them very much :)

I would also have a nice bottle of wine with your dinner and maybe give them a box of chocolates as they leave.

IMO, I don't think there's anything wrong/ cheesy 'bout flowers or a thank you card=P
It's the thought that counts anyway. Even a simple gesture like cooking them dinner is priceless.

Make them a dinner for all of you or find out if they like movies and get a gift certificate for that. As long as it comes from the heart they should appreciate it.

a card isnt cheasy .. but it may sem gay to ur bf.. as girls like that kind of thing..class starts and for free in a proper card.. what did they do for u buy u things? by all means a proper thank you card .. u could give them a lowes or home depot card for something or movie tickets or dinner but like u say ur not in that type of budget so .. how about making a cd of all the things that are beautiful like water fall sites.. vacation spots micchu picchu pictures and all cool sites to go to on the web and make a cd of it to give to them but use powerpoint to have a word of thanks for being u in the beginning.. and or their fav music they would listen to load it burn it for them give them that cd .. simple and yet not expensive but very thoughtful and original..

If your at their house a lot you could help do dishes, or something the mom is doing. Other wise, I bet the nicest thing you could do for them is to treat their son great, and don't get pregnant!

bake cookies, brownies, or something thoughtful. or if your boyfriend has younger siblings offer to babysit (at your house) so they can go out on a date. Be thoughtful, sometimes a warm handshake and a thank you is more meaningful than material items....

How about cooking dinner for them. Doesn't have to be elaborate, just good and heart-felt. You can let them know why you are inviting them over, let them know your feelings about them.
