Apparently, we are just against immigrants. We want them to pick our fruit to keep prices down, but we don't want to acknowledge them as people, let alone citizens-because they threaten the perception of the American dream-most people think they are coming here taking "our jobs", when the truth is they do the jobs that we would never do- for less than minimum wage, without any kind of health insurance, and if they get hurt on the job too bad there is no workman's comp for them.
The simple truth is that we fear them because they are real competition-they will work and not cry about union wages (boo hoo hoo) because they are trying to feed a family, not buy a new boat to impress their neighbors.
People often forget that when their families, much like Columbus or the Pilgrims, came to this country they did not have a green card or a visa. Much like those immigrants, the immigrants today only want something better for their children, and God help them it is in this country.

Illegal immigrants don't have rights, other than human rights against torture and the like. The movement is less than "young" it is non-existent. It is a demand for further benefits under pretense of entitlement by people who have been far too expensive already. The marches, for example, were a really bad idea.
There is no apartheid involved in immigration laws. Do you know of any developed country that doesn't have any?
As to your suggestion, we have to do nothing of the sort. And the very thought that that might happen would make amnesty much less likely.
I wonder if that wouldn't serve your Communist party just about as well as amnesty, since then there might be counter backlash at least of opinion from those countries most impacted.
I do feel sorry for the illegal immigrants who think that they as individuals are the concern of such organizers, at all.

Learn to distinguish between legal and illegal immigration ... legal immigrants can create whatever legal organizations they like to represent them ... illegal immigrants have no rights, not even the right to BE here ....

For someone supposedly so "enlightened" you sure seem to have a hard time with definitions. "Legal" immigrants have all the rights I have. "Illegal" aliens have no rights! Words have meaning, learn them.
