Go to START and open your CONTROL PANEL

Then go to ADD/REMOVE Programs, and look programs that you do not want.

If this still does not work, then try to BOOT into SAFE mode and try to remove it.

if THAT doesn't work then go into the Programs section and ACCESSORIES. Then the SYSTEM TOOLS and pick System Restore. Go back to a few days BEFORE you made the mistake of installing the darn thing.

Good luck

running an anti spyware program is your best bet. Yahoo has one available for download, spysweeeper... or you can go to websites like www.download.com and see other available ones, some free; some trial. You also need an antivirus solution AVG is an excellent antivirus program that is FREE for home users, businesses must pay. ABove all, read what other say about the software you are downloading... some are better than others.

When it comes to your cleaning, pay attention to what you are doing, when the spy sweeper runs. Write down the names of files it says are bad, and do what it suggests... (since my stuff is always backed up, I dont worry about that; and since XP home automatically backs your stuff up, perhaps you dont have to worry either). I have never had a problem using adaware, spysweeper, or avg... but I cannot speak for other programs. If the program in question is still giving you problems 1. remember this the next time you go and download crap off the net, and 2. do a websearch for that particular software (eg: "software name", uninstall problems). See what you can find about that... above all, be patient; you'd be surprised what you can accoplish, when you don't get frustrated.

you have to go to control panel , find add/remove programs , find the program that you installed , hit on it , when it is highlighted you will have option to remove or udate , of course you want to remove,, if this does NOT work you will need to get someone that go in and take the value added from the software you d/l out of the registry. PLEASE DO NOT do this on your own , messing in registry , unless you know what you are doing can make pc TOTALLY crash. Hope this helps :)

go into control pannel
add and remove software
and uninstall the program. Make windows do it, don't use the uninstall that came with the program.

if its still being an *** about getting off your system use system restore and go back the day before you installed the program...

Go to the start menu (start at the bottom tool bar). Go to Control Program, then Add/Remove Programs. Scroll down to the program you want to remove. Click on it and click add/remove and that should take it off your computer.
