First of all to the answerer who said wrong section, read the book. the asker is absolutely in the right section. "The Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis is a book about the devil testing one of his demons. He assigns a young man to him and his job is to convince him to turn from Christianity. The question that you are referring to is a chapter in the book. I haven't read it in a long time so I can't give you the exact answer that you are looking for, however, your question does inspire me to read the book again. Lewis wrote this after converting from atheism to Christianity. His book "Mere Christianity" is also a wonderful read. Thanks for the food for thought.
