No! If you are single (as in not married), and the two of you are compatible, why not? In our society a 36 year old male dating a 23 year old female would hardly raise an eyebrow. The old "Double Standard' thing.

You're not wrong to do that. But, it is highly likely you will be dealing with an emotionally immature guy at that age. I am 35 and refuse to date guys under 30 because I am tired of games and stupid little boy antics.
It really depends on what you're looking for. If you just want a booty call or sexual relationship...then go for it.
If you are looking for a deeper commitment and/or marriage, I say run do not walk from this situation.

Are you wrong to date a man who is 13 years younger than you?
No your not "wrong." The question is what kind of a relationship are you looking for with him? Casual? Friends with benefits? or Serious and long term? Wanting a fling or a casual sexual relationship with him would be more realistic than wanting a long term committment because of the age difference. When he is 36, you will be 49. Prospects for long term success here are in my opinion poor.

Of course not. You have the right to do what ever you want. As long as the person is legal right. That is the only thing thats is important. But when older woman date younger man, the guy looks a lot older for his age. I don't know why but its like if the lady takes the youth of the guy.

When I was 24 I dated a 31 yr. old girl. She probably took better care of me than any of the others did, but she fell in love and I didn't so I had to end it for her own good. I was not looking for the same as her. Just be careful.

No... It's perfectly OK...
I am 32 and was dating a 19 yr old male.. he did not even look that age... I had no idea he was that age until it was late....
And look at Demi Moore how happy she is with Ashton.... age is nothing but a number as long as you like the other person and respect each other.... Don't let your friends or anyone else determine your happiness by their standards.. you only have this one life to live.. live it according to your terms...
Good luck!!!

Where were u when i was 23 lol heck why weren't you teaching at my school when I was 15 :o)
But seriously. It's a matter of conscience. If you have to reassure yourself, you may not be comfortable with it and are seeking other's approval to convince yourself. Don't go by what we say but think it out and consider both of your needs and expectations then base the decision on that between you and him.

I would say go for it! I am currently 19 and dating a 27 year older. Things are great between the two of us and the age gap does not hinder the relationship. If you find that the age gap does not impede on things, I would go with your instincts and pursue!

Since you ask, yes, no matter the circumstances. You are a world apart. Being with him probably makes you feel young and hip, recapturing some of the magical 20s. Let him discover himself at his age, and you need to move on to a more mature relationship.
