i am allergic to mosquitos and these insect vampires love to suck my blood. i heard that there is a little machine you can buy that would repel mosquitos. sort of like Off, but without the nasty spray and significantly more effective.

I have seen one at the stores recently, but since there are not many of the nasty critters here I have not looked into it. Deet works well as do some of the repelant shirts. I would check backpacker or other hiking mag for reviews.

Best thing I have found is Avon Skin So Soft, really helped me when I was in Alaska. other than that, head to toe coverage with loose clothing.

There was a little thing many years ago that made like a cricket kind of noise. We used it to clip on the baby stroller to keep mosquito's off the baby. It worked really well, but I don't recall the brand name. Maybe check with some baby stores or in the camping section of outdoor stores.

OFF makes a little bracelet that you can wear around your wrist or ankle to ward off mosquitoes. My son wore his at camp and it worked great!!

There are some, but they don't work for ****, just use the DEET spray, and you will keep em off.
