Rent, no. Child support, that's a different story.

No, but the government does not ask to take my money to pay thier rent or buy them groceries. They just take the money.

Here is something that I hope will hit home with some people to this debate:

In the world there is this thing called 'natural selection'. In essence it is the explanation to what seem to be and unfair distrubuition of comfort or well being. I was born to an american family, thus I have the right to be here. An illegal was not. A good anology of this concept would be this. I was born to a barely in work auto mechanic. Why was I not born to a millionaire? Now, if I jump the fence of a millionaire's mansion would I be allowed to stay and have this millionaire support my way of life because the economics from which I came were bad? I mean no harm, I am just seeking a better way of life. No, I would be arrested and detained because that is his land and he came about it fairly. After a short time incarserated I would be sent back to the economic situation from whence I came. Now, why would we think this should be any different for one coutrymen to another? I am sorry your economic situation is not good enough to sustain your well being. That does not give you any right to enter my land and expect for me to provide you this well being.

Now, if you want to ask to come to my land and you follow all the criteria I set forth, then that would be acceptable.

No, the most recent thing an undocumented person has asked me is about the gold Sacagawea dollars he got out of the vending machine at the Post Office. He explained to me in fairly good English that he was afraid to approach the counter to ask about them, because he had no papers, but he was wondering what they were, and if his change was correct. When I pointed out to him that they were dollars, be broke in to a big smile, and told me he had recently broken his glasses at work, so he couldn't read fine print.

And for the record, I have met quite a few undocumented folks, and they have never asked me for anything but information, such as which bus to take, or what the directions say on something. And it isn't because they don't speak English--it's because they are trying to learn to read it, as well, and haven't got all the words down yet. So my impression is that they aren't trying to get anyone to pay their way, they are trying to get people to help them learn the ropes as they make their way in a new country.

Let's see. . .

Do they pay the taxes that send their children to our schools?
Do they pay health insurance or the assistance they get when they can't pay the hospital bill?
Do they pay into workman's comp?
Do they pay into unemployment?
Do they pay into Social Security?
Do they pay income taxes?

If No applies to any of the above questions, then we are paying their way. We as Americans have to pay for these things. There is no question about it, and it is the law that we do. WHY should they be able to benefit from any of the programs funded by things they don't pay for??? THAT is us paying their way.

A mind is like a parachute - it works only when it is open. . .

I'm confused. why do you continue to avoid the answer. this has been repeated many times but you do not like the answer, so you just ask the question again. anytime an illegal gets a welfare check they are expecting the citizens to pay their way. it is not a matter of them walking up and asking you personally.

No and I am not, some people argue this because "illegeals" can take advantage of health care centers and other government institutions paid for with tax money "illeagals" don't contribute to in income taxes

The issue of illegals is so tiring! The best thing you could do is call the INS and keep calling and tell your friends to call and keep calling. Call everyday to complain about illegals. Tell everyone you know to call every single day to call and complain about "Harassment" for the illegals!
Call the Police, call the FBI, The CIA Keep Calling Everyday and tell everyone you know to keep calling everyday.

When their phones are so tied up with people calling to complain about being harassed by illegals they will really start to do something about it!

People are just too complacent!

Sweetheart, unless you're kidding, I think you got the wrong idea about, "pay their way".

What people mean when they say "pay their way" is that some of our taxes go towards providing benefits to illegal immigrants.

I don't know why people complain so much about it though. Much more of our taxes goes towards building weapons to kill people with... People should complain about THAT.

Yes, we pay for their health care every day when they go to the walk in clinics. Yes, we pay for their rent in the government housing that 15 families live in. Yes, we pay for their food with the welfare they receive by having their little illegal spawn born in our country. Do I need to go on?

Illegals are worthless. And people who come over here and leach of the American system should be sent back, the quickest and cheapest way! We have enough American deadbeats, we don't need foreign ones! Let their own country take care of them!
