Should illegal immigarnts have to learn english or should everyone else have to learn spanish or what ever there language is?

Illegal immigrants should not be here, so it is an irrelevant question. They can talk whatever they like to IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY.

Well, first I need to tell you, it's not just illegals that don't speak English. Also, Spanish is not the only other language immigrants speak.
To answer your question: Neither. Why can't we just have the translations here and there like we do. We don't have to go out of our way to accomodate them, but if someone wants to do business with immigrants, it's in their best interest to provide translation services.
For all people who think immigrants need to learn English: I wonder if you yourself have ever tried to learn a foreign language? It's a very difficult process, and usually takes some money, which a lot of immigrants don't have. I think many of them wish they could learn English.

The U.S.A. has no official language. We are a country composed of foreigners, and our ancestors either did or did not learn the predominantly spoken English language. People are quite capable of functioning in our society without learning English, and we are quite capable of learning other languages. I think this should remain the choice of the individual.

u know if u go to a certain country and the rules is to walk on your head you have to walk on your head,so the immigrant have to follow the rules and if is hard for them they all know where they came from.if you don`t know where you are going you have to know where you came from. thanks
