When I was a younger man I would have said no I wouldn't find a new girlfriend. But now that I'm older and wiser I know there is no such thing as a long distance relationship. So the smart thing to do would be to cut the ties. Maybe fate would bring us together again and If not it wasn't meant to be. Absence doesn't make the heart grow fonder unless there is a permanent happy loving bond like a good marriage. But with a marriage the absence would be temporary at least that would be the goal.
If you are a young girl and have moved 10 states away with your parents cut the ties because you are going to meet a lot of new people.

I'm not a guy, but I'm pretty confident the answer is yes -- unless it's a particularly special relationship that has a definite future and you're going to move to be with him.

If you're young and your boyfriend has moved so far away, I'm sorry to say this, but chances are that there's no future in it. Obviously this depends on each relationship, but you already know deep down which way yours will go ...

Depends on how long she moved there, permanent or temp?
if less than a year, still can maintain long distance relationship.
If longer than that. have a good break from each other.
If u destined to be together, nothing can separated both of u.

I have had long distance relationships and they didn't work out. So I prefer to break up. Depends, I mean if she was like Carmen Electra, I would be right behind her in the plane

If she moved ten states away from me, she probably isn't that interested in seeing me.

Unless you're talking about someone really young, whose parents moved her away.

Either way, I'd have to say "Yes".
