You find out that someone you mistakenly dated is continuously lying about you on the internet on various sites? Should you ignore it or put them on "BLAST" on the internet?

If you are thinking of getting back at them you are, for some reason, still wanting to have a relationship with that person, as disfunctional as it would be, its still a connection...a relationship. And so my question to you is why do you want to waste your precious time and energy on someone who isn't even worthy of you?
Move on.
This is just what she wants...don't play the game or you are giving all your power over to her.
Good luck babe!

Its the internet, only freaks with no lives retaliate over the internet.
You sound smart and well worthy of something better than an honest but dreadfull mistake. Move-on, shes nothing to you.

If you have too say something do it to her face and catch her off guard.

I'd say they are not worth the effort you'd be affording them by retaliating. Most people who lash out do so to provoke a response. The best way to punish these people is by ignoring them. In infuriates them that you will not play their game. Those people who might believe the rumors aren't people you need in your life anyways.

i'm guessing these are negative lies eh? well i would go to drastic measures if i were you. blast is just fine... do ur best to wreck any current or future relationships she has... did she dump u? or the other way around? and you always have ways to spread lies about her urself correct?

BUT my personal favorite would be to ask a question on this Yahoo answers: Is anyone here certified to assasinate a past girlfriend who won't stop bothering me?

give a couple of the assasins her name and address, and poof, ur problems gone in days with little costs!!

Well, you could do the same to them. but how important is it really. Do you personally know everybody on the internet. Who gives a big hairy deal anyway. Obviously they are trying to get you angry and its working. Confront her if you want and tell her that you can get copies of whatever she is saying and sue her for libel. Slander is verbal, libel is written. If she is saying something really bad, you could make some money on the dope.

PUT THEM ON BLAST, BUT AT THE SAME TIME, FIND OUT WHAT SITES THEY ARE GOING ON SAYING THINGS ABOUT YOU. MAKE A LIST AND THEN SAVE THEM. GET YOU A GOOD LAWYER, AND SUE THEM FOR SLANDER AND DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER, THAT WILL REALLY TAKE CARE OF SOMEONE LIKE THAT.

I think anyone who would believe what they read about someone based on a website is missing brain cells.

Two wrongs don't make a right . . .but then again, you have a right to defend yourself. . .within reason.

I would reccomend finding a time when you're not very angry, and then if you still want revenge, still think twice.

Mister Pickle...

Put her on the permanent press before the situation gets you in too much of a mess.

If she apologizes, proceed to FDA.

Trying to get back at them just makes you look bad...people who don't know you are either not going to pay attention to the lies OR if they do, they aren't people you'd want to get to know anyway, so why worry about it?

You'll get more revenge by doing nothing...it's her karma...treat others as you'd like to be treated...

Ah, ignore it. Anyone whose opinion is important to you isn't going to care anyway, and unless she works for CNN or something she's hardly going to reach a big crowd!
