If it's Christina Rose's legs, it's really passion.

Seriously, passion is always pretty much real. What's hard to perceive sometimes is whether it's passion for the legs or passion for the soul. Sometimes it's hard to tell whether the quality of passion is mutual.

Is your passion consistent with your best "you?" Does your passion lead you to growth and better places in your life? Or does your passion have to hide in a dark little corner of your life? Over time, you can come to sense that.

I think Ann Landers' definition of love is the best. So, if your relationship doesn't have any of the items below, it is PASSION not love.

"Love is friendship that has caught fire. It's quiet understanding ... mutual confidence ... sharing and forgiving. It's loyalty through good times and bad. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weakness.

Love is content with the present, hopes for the future, and refuses to brood over the past. It's the day-in and day-out chronicle of irritations, problems, compromises, small disappointments, big victories, and working together toward common goals. If you have love in your life, it can make up for a great many things that you lack. If you don't, no matter what else there is - it's not enough."

You can hardly breath, your heart is pounding and nothing outside of your passion is noticed, heard or felt.
