and has been to the emergency room before because he could not see out of one of his eyes. the doctor said that he has yellow eyes and pale skin. whats goin on?

thanks for the responses. my brother definetly doesnt have a eating disorder or is not on drugs....my mom says his dad has also had a problem with passing out...the doctor may have asked him questions like this but they have sent him home. his bloodwork is also just fine.

if his eyes are yellow it can be a few things:
Gall stone
Liver failure - acute or chronic
Drug reaction

Is he underweight or malnourished? Is he getting enough vitamins and minerals? How old is he? Does he have mono, the flu, etc? Does he have any serious allergies? What has he eaten recently that could have triggered this? Is he getting enough sleep? Did he get vaccinated recently? Is he on any medications that have bad side effects? Is he on drugs? How old is he? Does he have an eating disorder?
Pale skin could come from lack of Vitamin D (I think that's the sunshine one) or malnourishment. Yellow eyes I'm not so sure about, but I've heard of it as part of a genetic deficiency common in Amish children that comes from cow's milk. I doubt it's that though.
He needs to see a doctor. Why did the ER doctor not ask about any of this or tell you anything further?

It sounds like something is definitely going on. The yellow eyes sounds like jaundice, but that wouldn't cause the passing out. He should go back and get worked up because there is something else going on and he needs to get it looked at!

You don't mention his age, but could possibly be a
"blocked carotid aretery" in his neck, from high
cholesterol, just one of many possibilites.

If he is really skinny is could be Anorexia
or it could be drugs
