I'm gonna be a freshman this year. Can someone tell me what their first day of high school was like?

Hey, i was a freshman last year. The first day of school was kinda weird, ya know, like seeing ppl u dont know in ur classes and tryin to find your friends at lunch. But after the first day, everything was AWESOME! I love high school so much and can't wait til my school starts. The upperclassmen were never mean to me, mainly cuz they all knew my brother before he graduated, and cuz before school started, I joined the tennis team and met sooooooo many upperclassmen. DONT WORRY! ITS GONNA BE THE BEST YEARS OF UR LIFE!

At most high schools you will here a lot of "Stupid freshman" that normally doesn't happen on the first day because everyone is a little timid. All I can say is know where all your classes are before hand so you don't walk in the wrong room and don't tick off the upper classmen....they get really annoyed!!!

hm, my first day of high school was only last year. it was a half day, things were pretty confusing since the school was much bigger and there were many more people there, but it wasnt all that hard since we had tours and stuff and i had older friends and an older sibling to help me out. theres nothing really different, teachers and stuff are always scaringyou about high school, but dont worry its not that much different, and its alot of fun!

You'll either like it or you'll hate it. That seems to be the concensus of opinions from the people I went to highschool with. The first day will be like the first day in anything... (a new job, new school, new people)... If you're an outgoing individual, you will more likely like high school.

the first day of high school was an introduction to the courses that i was taking and a meet and great the teachers

It wasn't too bad for me. I visited school and had already found my classes so I would know where I was going. I thought it was fun and a new experiance. Just have fun and make new friends. It will be great!!

When I went to high school my first day was as an 8th grader and it was pretty scary as everyone was big! I adapted alright though and so will you.

I was embarrassed...Other than that at the end of the year you will not want to leave...trust.
