Crime was not up during the depression. Poverty is not an excuse to commit crimes.

No and many very poor people don't. They had better values. And I once posted a story of a man from Africa who family was starving and he still kept his values. He is doing well today. If someone was truly starving I think most would help if they could. But not one hospital has a report that any Illegal came over starving--not one. Nor of severe malnutrition.
So in answer to your question No one should break the law because they are poor. We have thousands of poor here and many don't break the law.

Yes, and no.
They should eat, and survive, and if breaking the law is the only way they can do this, then they have to, you can't expect any other behavior.
Should they do this at the expense of people who did not cause them to be poor? If possible, no, and violence should be avoided at all costs.
Should they organize and rebel? Technically, yes, because when people are poor, it is a failure by the government to fulfill the social contract. The social contract is this: the government gets to make laws because they, in turn, protect you. If they don't, the people have the right to take the power back, and the government doesn't have the right to regulate them.

There is always a necessity for civil disobediance (sp?). That is how change takes place. Plus there will always be poor people. Being poor is just a compairison. If the average home in america were to cost 1 billion dollars then people in million dollar homes would be considered poor. Poor people in america are rich compaired to poor people in other countries.

Why does rich people break the law? You ask a very dumb question. I'm poor and I have no reason to break the law. Rich and poor break the law, so don't try and peg it all on poor people.

What the hell kind of question is this? By putting "poor" people in the same law breaking group you are simply stereotyping an unfortunate group. What, people with money don't' commit crimes?
Shame on you.

Breaking the law is breaking the law. If you break the law, you need to pay - no matter what your economic background. Poor, rich, middle class. . . All should go to jail/be deported if they break the law.

Well, in the interest of justice and fair play ... if it is OK to break one law, the immigration law, why isn't it fair to break another? What's good for the goose is good for the gander ... I would be considerably better off if I didn't pay tax ... honest ... I only want a better life for myself and my family ... hand on heart and swear to God ... so it's OK if I skip taxes from now on, right?

According to the excuses given for the terrorist actions, you would be correct. However the premise is incorrect. But if they insist on continuing in illegal and immoral actions they should be exterminated as one would do to any other vermin.
