Where were you baptisted?

Were you baptisted in a pool, a lake, or perhaps your church has a place where they baptise you?
Were you baptisted outside/inside, in winter, or summer?

I was baptized on February 15, 1991 along with my younger sister and mom. It was a touching experience, especially since all 3 of us were baptized simultaneously! It was at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Indian Land, SC.

I can answer only for the Catholic religion. It is customary to be baptized at about 3 months of age. It is done whenver that time falls; winter, spring, etc. It is done in church, on the alter over a small, birdbath looking pool. The water is holy water that is poured on to the forehead. All Christians should be baptized early in life although some are not. It is also custom not to bring the unbaptized baby out of the house for fear that the devil may take up residence before God does. Believe what you want anyway. That is the route I took.

My mother tried to have me baptized at the age of 12 in some big pool inside a huge protestant church but I walked away and never was.

I was baptised in church in september of the year 2004. I remember that day clearly. =)

I was baptized last Augst 30th, in a park where our church had a big tub to do the baptizing in. I was sitting upright, and the pastor and co-pastor were on each side of me, and I went backwards under the water, and then they helped me back up before I drowned. It wasn't a good way to baptize people because water goes up your nose in that position, and because youstart in a sitting position, you don't have leverage to pull your body upright by yourself when you are flat on your back.
