Don't rush it. Just take it slow because if you give it up too early then they just start disrespecting you. I have found this to be true with most of the guys I have dated.

well as soon as he laid eyes on you he wanted to have sex with you, lol
but he gets points for not rushing it, nothing worse than a guy making you feel like that is all you are worth
he might be hinting that he is wanting it to happen at your apartment but if you aren't ready don't do it, and if he is a good guy he will understand
the important thing to do here is not to send the wrong signals, don't let on that you want sex if you really don't or if you are unsure
it will happen when its right
i am a little concerned about what you said...that you have had sex but not when sober or with someone you liked. in my opinion, its too good of a thing to waste on someone you are not into or if you wont remember it the next day. respect yourself and your body cause if you don't, men wont....just some friendly advice from a slightly older woman

It's not about when *he* wants to have sex, it's about when you are ready and comfortable with having sex with him.
One major question to consider:
1) Would you be OK if you had sex with him and never heard from him again after that?
If the answer is no, then you might want to wait a little longer to have sex--until you trust him enough to know that he won't walk all over your feelings.
If the answer is yes, then go for it girl! Have some fun! I hear young guys have a lot of stamina!

Talk first. Kissing second. Petting third. and finally Sex. Don't jump to sex, until you've sampled the first steps. Being in your apartment sets the scene if you feel emotionally ready for sex with him. Sounds like he doesn't want to rush things, and that's good.

The answer to your question is: anytime of day or night awake or asleep. Listen to the other posters and take your time. This is 2006 and it's totally cool for you to discuss your apprehension with him. ***A bit of advice on the timing of your discussion regarding having sex: make sure you talk about it before he comes over and you are busy getting yourselves all worked up.

This would make the 5th date then, so I would presume he wants something this Saturday. Yes.

Since you are older than he, he may be waiting for a signal from you under the mistaken assumption, that you have more experience than he...

JUST DO WHAT YOU FEEL IS RIGHT WHAT YOUR HEART WANT IF YOU WANT TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP IT'S GREAT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO IT'S GREAT ALSO AS LONG AS YOUR HAPPY DARLING TALK TO HIM ABOUT IT ASK HIM WHAT HE THINKS IF HE WANTS TO DO IT NOW OR LATER AND WHY AND THAN YOU TELL HIM WHAT YOU THINK IF YOU REALLY CARE FOR HIM YOU NEED TO BE HONEST ABOUT EVERYTHING AND ESPECIALLY YOUR FEELINGS

Your question should be: When are YOU ready to have sex. Never, ever have sex unless YOU want to.
