Ebola is the hottest viral strain known to man, and makes AIDS look like a head cold. The symptoms begin as a wicked headache, high fever, facial muscle atrophy, vomiting a black slurry of hemorrhaged internal organs, and bleeding from every orifice of the body. This process takes only 10 days from exposure, until death. It is bloody gruesome, and bodies must be burned to prevent further exposure to this violent pathogen. I would suggest you read The Hot Zone for further information regarding Ebola. It is a chilling account of the disease, and it's variations.

i kind of find this question offensive...people with a disease are not disgusting, they are sick. I can tell you what the most heartbreaking in my opinion are - cystic fibrosis because kids suffer from the time they are born until they die, usually at a young age - duchenes muscular dystrophy...born normal, start falling around 4-6, lose muscle control as they age, end up in a wheel chair usually by 10-12, are in constant pain, and die very young because their internal muscles stop working as well. Those are the cruelest in my opinion, there are more, but I wont go on, because it isnt really what you're looking for.

I'd say elephantiasis, symptoms include swelling of the legs like crazy, rare though.

Necrotizing faeceitis. It is ugly and too graphic to try to explain. Long story short....rotting flesh....that just continues to die.
