I have jpeg images that are larger because they were designated for CD burning. I want to eliminate those jpeg files and no longer want to burn the CD?

No problem........ delete away. The .jpg's don't know they were going to a CD! So what if they did.

Yeah, but not the application files themselves though. You remove those through Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel

yes, you can safely delete the jpeg files. it won't delete anything that will interfere with your applications.
