I'm so sorry. It depends on if you're ready for another dog. My dad had a german shepard and it died. My mom got a chihhuahua and he thought that the dog would not be as likeable as shadow. comes to find out he loves her! She may be alot smaller but they have very similar markings. That is our chihuahua did. Hopefully u do decide to get another one and you'll find that it brings joy into your home as much as bow did!

well really u should just listen to your heart. if u feel like your dog bow would've wanted u 2, then do it! dogs at the HS only are like $200. so give it a try! but if u don't feel that way, then i suggest getting one when u r truly ready!

If your dog was soooo sick it could not be cured, then they put him down, then I say if you feel you are ready for another dog go ahead. If you just did not want to pay for a sickness that could be healed, then I say no, no more dogs.

If you want another dog you should get one. But make sure you can handle a puppy right now. Grown dogs are soooooooooo much easier to take care of.

I would. Its the best way to heal wounds. I lost mine to a truck not too long ago. This time around I got a cat. It helps with the pain of losing a loved one.
