So, my brother is enlisting in The Air Force. Since I can't drive (Don't see well enough...long story) I'm afraid I won't be able to see him much. Who knows where he'll be stationed. This makes me VERYYYYY sad!!!!!

Courage Melissa! He's doing something not a lot of people have done. Write him often! Call him when you can! (But don't overdo it!). Send him "Care Packages"....y'know....cookies, snacks, maybe a pair of flip-flops to wear when he's off duty.

Most of all, pray for him and his safe return, and tell him so!

I know, I was in the U.S. Air Force for four years and all the reminders from loved ones made returning home that much sweeter.

Be proud of him. You have to sacrifice alot to be a part of the military. He might be stationed far away, but you will still be able to talk to him whenever you want. The Air Force also the shortest deployments(4 months) if he gets deployed.

Are you worried you won't see him much because you have bad eyes or you can't drive? Chances are you won't see him 48 out of 52 weeks a year unless you relocate closer to where he is stationed.
