I'm going to buy a used car and I'm really confused as to which one to choose..

There's a:
96 Dodge Avenger (Red)
98 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS (Red)
92 Toyota Celica, and a (Light Blue)
98 Chrysler Sebring (Maroon)

They're all around 100,000 miles and are all stated to run perfectly, so I'm not basing my decision on the mileage, I'm just confused as to which one to buy now. I'm kind of going for looks...thanks for the input!

Thanks everyone--keep 'em coming! I appreciate it. All cars are from single-owner private sellers. Thanks again.

Avoid the Toyota because the air-conditioning will be expensive to fix. Don't buy the Eclipse because they don't hold up in a crash well. I would not get the Avenger as this seems like a traffic ticket waiting to happen. The Sebring might be okay if it doesn't have the 2.7 liter six cylinder. Hope this helps.

If all the cars were exactly the same and had the approx same mileage then pick whichever looked the best or suited your life style. But it's not all the same so think of it this way there are some points to remember.
1. are they private sales or dealers? dealers may offer a guarantee
2. 100,000.00 miles is a lot for a 1998 (was it used as a courier vehicle)
3. Did you do a vehicle history check, it will tell you how many owners or if there was any serious collisions.

But all that aside, I would go with the Toyota mainly for the Brand reputation. And check the book called "Lemon-aide" by Dave Edmunston

In my opinion the celica is the best choice, the eclipse is the sharpest looking, wouldn't touch the other 2 though, the celica is by far has the best gas mpg, but its a 92?

i'd either go for the eclipse or the celica.. you'd have to modify the celica though (aftermarket bumpers, etc)

well, i personally like the eclipse . if its just for you. not good for hauling kids around. i personally have had problems with dodge\chrysler electrical components and transmission. since those are older cars i would go with the eclipse also, i heard they tend to last longer.
