I feel SO bad for feral cats......... Use a humane trap to safely and gently trap the cats, and one by one take them to an animal shelter..... IF you don't have an organization nearby to take them. If so, that would be best, talk around, call the shelter, some local vets, as if they know of any feral cat colonies.
Ferals CAN be tamed. I know, as I have done it successfully, it takes a lot of time, patience, and effort - which unfortunately most shelters don't have.
You can purchase a Hav-a-hart, or other humane trap from any feed store, farm stores...
Online....

Most humane societies, veterinarians and rescue organizations will rent or even LOAN a trap to you. FREE!
Here are a couple sites with some good tips on using a humane trap....

You may find some useful information on this site from the Feral Cat Coalition: http://www.feralcat.com/
And.....

Feral cats are often misundertood and hated. They are lonely, hungry and terrified! With a little patience and love they can be the best pets.
I wish I knew more information, I could try to help you find a feral rescue organization. If you wish, email me GypsySunrise24649 @ Gmail dot com, and tell me where you are located, or what city you are closest to, and I will try my best to set you up with a phone number and address.
Take care!

Contact the animal control services, if you have one, in your area. They will trap the ferals but they probably euthanize them too.
Or you could call your humane society to see if there a program that is called TNR (trap, neuter and release) where a group of volunteers will trap ferals, neuter/spay and then release them into a colony - they will not kill the ferals.
Unfortunately, once you have feral cats, they will only reproduce, so you'll always have feral cats unless you remove them or have them removed.

Feral/Stray cats actually solve a lot more problems then they cause, but if you still want to get rid of htem, just leave your dog out in the yard longer.

SPCA? if they're feral then they will unfortunatly will probably all be put to sleep. feral cats are just hopeless in finding new homes because they're not used to human contact. Good Luck!! HIH!!!

Your local animal control might have a life trapping program in place, look in your local yellow pages under Animal control.
Another way is using a cat repellent. Some good stuff can be found at HAVAHART at http://www.havahart.com/nuisance/groundhogs/_old_cats/cat_repellents.htm
Hope that helps a bit!

Really that's next to impossible...the only way to control the problem is capture the cats and take them to the SPCA but they will always be around...

Stop feeding them.
They will eventually move to a source of food.

Maybe with a Hav-a-hart trap, and then take them to a local animal shelter.
