I believe that we are working on our souls our spirits as you will. In a year, God willing, or if He is so generous, ten years from now, I hope to be stronger in my faith, more loving, more giving, more kind, and I hope more dedicated. Perhaps I can lift a few fallen spirits, and brightes a few peoples days. If I can accomplish that I will consider life a success.
Peace Be With You,
Debra

I hope at least one of the great ideas I have can come to pass, and I hope I am good enough at what I do that I have the money and power to really help some people. That may not seem like a "spiritual" answer, but thinking of spirituality as it relates to my future, that's how I feel. I don't anticipate a change of religion, but then again, if you'd told my 18-year-old Assemblies of God self that I would be an actual Pagan Witch who was co-leading a coven in ten years, I'd have laughed right in your face. It's good that we can't see and predict everything. It's good that every day brings an opportunity to change our futures.
Speaking of leadership positions, I *do* anticipate never having one of *those* again! The old-school ancient Witches didn't have cell phones which enabled the rest of their coven to pester them for advice at all hours, never mind that you yourself aren't really any smarter than they are.

I would like to own my own metaphysical shop (that sells new age and occult supplies) *and I know this isn't the type of answer that you are looking for because it's not Christiant, but I'd still like to give my input. :-)* I would like to give Tarot readings and reiki healing session to people and counsel them to help. I believe that all gifts, such as the ability to read Tarot, perform reiki, and counsle people are all from God (the Divine Creator of All Things -- not necessarily the Christian perception of what God is.) if and when they are performed in a way that you are simply channeling God's words through your body. It happens and I've done it. It's an inspiring experience and I love the feeling of being able to help others through my God-given talents. Even if not everyone believes they are from God. They don't have to come to me for help then!
So, in essence, our goals are very similar although the ways we will get there will differ. :-) Just another example of similarities between different faiths.
Blessings and Light!

I think measuring spirituality is a complete waste of precious time. Life is not a contest and I do not believe we are judged at the end by our beliefs, but by our actions. This moment is the gift we have been given. If you spend all your time working on the future, where are you now? Consider each loving and giving moment a success and stop keeping score.

Hi Debra: A year from now i hope to be in the jungles of Perú, for the 3rd time, preaching the Word, this time, to the matze people. I already went with ´´Segadores´´ mission workers to the Ashanika tribe. Spiritually i expect to be stronger and closer to God so i can feel as He feels about people. The Bible is the word of God, as opposite to pagan belief, and as we can see, all His prophecies are coming to pass. Thanks for your question, God bless you!!!

I'm pretty much hoping for the same. Grow stronger in my faith and my relationship with my Gods and be able to help others more.

I highly doubt my beliefs will be any different one year from now or ten. I just hope in the time I'm given I can do all I can to help those around me in my family and community.

You know? I don't know where I'll be spiritually a year or ten years from now. It's hard to tell because we change as life goes on. I really hope that I'll be happy serving others and my church and enjoying my family.

I also see myself growing in my relationship with God and hopefully as part of a church family because I miss it so much. I also wish my husband would grow in his faith. I hope to be able to bring others to the Lord as I have come to know Him. God Bless!

I too am hoping for a closer walk with Jesus. I am going to keep praying and keep reading the Bible because whether people believe it or not, the answers are THERE. God be with you.
