I mean he's a GROWN UP MAN and he was dead serious, so I got pissed off because I hate hearing grown people with receeding hairlines say they have tummyaches...... I swear to god if another 30-soemthing year old says that i'll knock otu their teeth!

Things like that could make you loose your temper but not that bad... I feel frustration sometimes when an adult uses words like tummy and stuff but what makes me mad is hearing them complain like children, especially if they're of the male category. It drives me nuts but I wouldn't punch them... Try to control yourself more and be careful cause you could get fired or even sued for something like that.

Suppose he punched you because he gets pissed off at gays who dye their hair? It is never alright to resort to physical violence. How old are you? Why are you so angry? Get some counseling before you get a beat down you can't recover from or lose you job. The answer below this needs help too. You can't go around striking people. It's assault and will get you in jail.

What you could've done is say something like,"Don't say tummy, you're an adult!" It wasn't a good idea to punch him.

Wow, I think that you have serious anger issues.
Counseling might be a good choice, once you get past your court appearance for the assault charges. But, then the judge might order the counseling & you may be able to keep your job.

It sounds like you need to be arrested on assault and battery charges, and go to jail. Do you LIKE your current job? Are you trying to get FIRED???

If he used the exact words "tummy-ache" then yes I agree that he did deserve it. If he said "my stomach is bugging me" or "I feel kinda crappy" or something to that extent and didn't whine about it then no he didn't.
