yeah I had one that worked well because me being a lefty and my pops being a righty we could both use it, but we took it out after our PGA pro at our golf club saw it and said that we couldn't use it in the member-guest tourney because it was an illegal club.

Yes. This is because it is illegal to make contact with a ball with the back of the club. With a two faced club there is no "back" which makes it illegal. However, this does not apply to putters in which case they could be flat on both sides and it would be okay.

It is illegal in terms of use in a PGA of professional event. That doesn't mean you can't use it in a friendly Sunday round with your buddies.

illegal - you play monopoly by the rules don't you - you wouldn't be allowed to use it in our money game on Sundays.

if you don't use it in a tournament, it shoud be o.k. to use.(i would let you use it) maybe your buddies are butt heads, tell them to kiss off...
