I always seem to get a headache during the afternoon (4-ish), and I always have a snack around 3. I used to think that the headache was due to hunger, but after being on a new diet, I realize that it is not, because I can tell that I am just not hungry. I get more than the recomended amount of water per day. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

possibly low blood sugar

what type of snack are you having does it have adequate sugar... try eating an apple in the afternoon. this will help if its a blood sugar problem. do you work at a computer it could also be eye strain related. maybe because of you getting more that the recommended amount of water your feeling full and actually are hungry. water doesn't help blood sugars, but it can make you feel full. good luck

Light Headed from the Diet
Eat something with protein like milk or eggs.
Average the headache due to a need for sweets too
Try juice. Iron may be low too. I think you may need vitamins and green vegetable like spinach or dark leafy greens.

It could be stress but it can also be not drinking enough water. I know that when I dont drink enough water I get a headache. Try drinking more water and see what happens.

If you are suffering from headache while dieting it might be low sugar blood.
you should eat some fruits ,it is so effective.
