Part 2-
Don't get me wrong she is a nice person but she really messed up my alegbra education. I mean this is high school, I can't let myself get these grades in math. Especially in Math! This is an everyday thing. It's not like I don't know what Im doing, I am a honor student....but this year I didnt even make the honor roll because of math. One of my friend had a different alegbra teacher I would see her notes that they took in class and see her test, and I like, I can do this is not complex. But with my alegbra teacher she knew that we didnt have much time and still made the work confusing and had no explanation into what she teaching. Beacause of my grades in alegbra my gudience councler made me drop down into intergrated math 2 year because she said with my grades in algebra I would not succed in geo cp and alegbra2 cp. Int. math program is basically a low class, I've seen the classes the kidsdont even pay attetion. But You know what Im not going to give up. I've learned mylesson

As a teacher myself, I can tell you right off the bat that not every instructor knows what they are doing. Some make assumptions about students, and therefore don't take as much time to explain things. My best advice, if this teacher does not help you, is to tranfer to another teacher. Have your parents sit down with a counsellor and say "We just feel that our child would be better served with a change of environment." Don't blame the teacher, don't make excuses or complaints. Simply make a request. There is no reason a good student should fail due to a poor teaching experience. Best of luck.

As a support look up the math problem that you are given in her class on Math.com. It is a wonderful website that explains most math problems with examples and step by step explanations. So maybe you wont understand her in class but you may be able to teach yourself the problem at home. Of course this is no excuse for a teacher who just isnt teaching the material they way you need it to be taught, but it is a way not to get dropped into the intermediate math course.

Boy your story brought a deja-vous feeling in me. I had a similar story and the subject was chemistry. My chem teacher was all whacked she was a bit paranoid, if not schizzophrenic at best, and she would hear someone move or make remarks nobody actually did or made... she would take a big book and land it on your head, when you leastr expected it... I had to actually learn it with a tutor all summer because I didn't want to mess up my perfect GPA... It brought down my grades, even though I passed it. You best bet is to pair up with someone that's really good at it, a tutor, and learn it on your own. Really grasp it. Plus you may wish to make some recomendations to the board... every theacher fears the "board" ... and they might actually look up her creds.
For that you know...

You can ask your parents if they can help you with this one. You're not always going to get the teacher that you like. It's your job to participate in your education. Why is this teacher confusing? Is it possible to transfer to that other class. Discuss this with your parents. Good luck, dear.
