I'm 15 btw almost 16 and I'm going with my mom and stepdad and a close friend of mine. ..

I've gone to Rent in a variety of outfits - from EXTREMELY dressed up to wearing the same clothes I'd been wearing for the last two days [after I slept outside for that long for tickets]. I promise you, it will not matter. Some people dress up for the theatre, some don't.
Trust me, no one at Rent will care what you wear. The crowd there is so eclectic, its wonderful.
Personally, next time I go see Rent, I'll probabl wear black pants or jeans, if I don't have nice black pants, and a shirt I would have worn to school, but probably not a t-shirt.
Like I said though, really, anything goes. Just have fun!

it really doesnt matter just show your personality... its a very good musical
