Welllllllll........... there is the account in 1Samuel 5 of when the Philistines captured the Ark of the Covenant and placed in Dagon's temple, and the image of Dagon was broken into pieces. I don't really know if that counts, though, because just like everything or anyone else besides the One True God that is worshiped, Dagon was really just an idol (without life altogether).
For an FYI, the Philistines of the Bible are who we today call the Palestinians.

Not really, but he has defeated me plenty of times in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. I usually play with Ryu and he usually chooses Gill. I always say it's unfair because Gill is such a cheap character but he insists that the bigger the challenge, the better I'll feel when I overcome it. Ironically, although we love playing Street Fighter, we're both anti-violence.

In a way. Two examples:
1) The prophet Elijah challenged the Baal priests to summon fire out of heaven to burn up the sacrifices they offered to Baal. They couldn't do it, cutting themselves in the agony of defeat. Meanwhile, Yahweh, the God of Israel, (the Consuming Fire), burnt up the sacrifices in a flashing display of fireworks. I'd say that scores a big win for Israel's God.*
2) Yeshua Ha Maschiah, (Jesus the Messiah), scored an even bigger win when He pretended to go along with Satan's plan to kill Him, turning the tables on His ArchEnemy. (Yes, unfortunately some people worship the devil or his minions in many forms.)
Jesus/Yeshua, not only came back to life, bringing others back to life with Him, but also won back the legal claim to Earth, after the devil had tried to steal legal claim to the planet. Jesus broke open the gates of hell and took the keys of hell and death. Knock down...KO defeat of His enemy!

Whenever and wherever there's forgiveness, peacemaking, restoration, beauty, loud laughter and the poor is restored, the hungry fed, the dissident respected and the environment looked after I see my God beating Corporate US's gods (and G8 countries' gods as well).

no, but I know He has a low opinion of any other "gods".....
Ex 20:4
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Ex 20:5
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

How bizarre. Um I have had unseen individuals protect me sometimes. Some people have died too. Oh well. As for other Gods thou shall have no other Gods before me. Jesus said there will be many Gods before me. I guess so even if they weren't real ones sure yeah uh huh. Are you off your meds again?

He doesn't have to, cause the non-existent other gods can't answer prayer or save people from their sins, so in their silent absence, they have been beaten.
