It's normal if you don't want to be grossed out. The thing is, it's middle school, and it's a health class. I gurantee you anything, they won't show anything too graphic, because legally, they can't. Otherwise, they have to get your parents permission for making you watch it. I'm pretty sure the graphics aren't like what you'll think it's going to be. I've taken health classes before, and they keep it as clean as possible. You might see some blood, but it's not going to be blood dirrping all over. And just imagine it as, good blood. There's blood that's like, people dying. This blood, someoe's being born--the pain is itself is the result to a gift of joy.

Yup, despite what some have said on this topic, this is a video that many schools make kids watch. Part of it is to shock young women into avoiding premarital and/or unprotected sex. It is also a valid part of a health science curriculum. You can have your parents write a letter to your teacher excusing you from the class. There is no law that says a student MUST watch these films.

When I was your age they did the same thing to us. They made us watch the birthing video and there was no ifs ands or buts about it. They didnt even have to get written permission from our parents.
My suggestion, go over the health teachers head, and talk to your principal or guidance counselor. Most Health teachers I've run into aren't very lenient about kids not wanting to do something in class. I think you should definitely speak to a guidance counselor or principal about this. Maybe they can get you out of it.
If all else fails, to be completely honest, it's not as bad as you think it would be. It's graphic, but not as bloody as you'd expect.

I can understand why you wouldn't want to see something like that. Most grown men can't handle that. I would suggest talking with the health teacher. It may not be the case this year. If it is true, then let your teacher know your feelings about blood. However, with you being a female, you will have to see blood on a monthly basis, so you may as well get use to it...

If it truly is a real difficulty, you desire and function and may tell your verify/s. call an suggestion nurse. It sounds like you've an infection. in spite of your courting such as your mom- i imagine she might want to somewhat recognize if her daughter is in some severe harm somewhat than to awaken in some unspecified time sooner or later with an rather severe difficulty impulsively. it truly is a possibility once you scratched the chemical substances that were used on the nails affected your pores and skin- you recognize similiar to once you get your hair colored & the instructs continually say to do a "strand-try" when you're allergic. it would want to be you had a small scratch, yet because of the nails being freshly executed, your pores and skin might want to have had an allergic reaction

I think you've been told a fib. They are not going to make you watch a women give birth. And, if they do show a video, surely they'll make your parents sign off on it first. Don't worry. Good luck to you.
