The adult, hands down. A child is naive, and that's acceptible. A naive adult is just plain scary.

I think the guy that has less faith then a small child or an adult Christian is the most gullible

An adult Christian is more gullible: because by adulthood people should learn how to reason and think for themselves. However, they like to use the word "faith" instead of gullibility at that age.

i'd say they were both right in their own way. both children who believe in father christmas and christians believe in these things because it's how other people tell them how it is and so they trust in these people, thinking that they would never lie to them about something so important, and believe in it. then the belief turns into common sense. in the first case children soon come to realize that there is no such thing as father christmas and that it's all just a made upp story that was baised, long ago, upon a saint. the latter either grow up and make up their own mind about these things or grow up and become fanatics, reaching the point where they're willing to kill for their beliefs and in the way completely forsaking their "beliefs" for rightouseness and arrogance. other just grow up and want to be better and believe their religion makes them better.
so to summarise, i think neither are gullible, but both just too concentrated in following the mass of people to make their own minds up. but, to end, i think that the children are justified for not knowing better and grownups aren't

The Christian. A child is immature and incapable of rational thought, there is no excuse for an adult.

I think it is far more damaging for an adult to follow christianity. A child believes whatever is spoon-fed to him/her, but adults are supposed to know enough to study all the things out there before making a selection. Sadly, it seems that there's far too many adults behaving like spoon-fed children with christianity. They are so clueless, they don't even know they're clueless! Don't call the bible "truth" if you cannot PROVE it is truth or that there even IS a god.
