Girl, it all depends on how you carry it. Do you carry it in your butt, hips, thighs? Do you carry it in your stomach? What is your ethnicity? Are you African American? If so and u carry it in your butt, hips, and thighs...GREAT. Are you caucasian? Do you carry it all over and you only go by the scale? If you feel that you need to lose weight, then lose weight! Do n't go by what we say, go by how you feel and how you want to feel when you look in the mirror!

At your height you could lose about 40 pounds to get down to a healthy weight,as you could be looking at long term health problems in the future .Dont look at any quick fixes as this must be a long term life style change to beable to maintain the weight and stay healthy for the rest of you life.

You're overweight. The ideal should only between 130 to 150 pounds. Proper exercise and diet are required.

Your BMI is 32. 19 to 24 is normal. 30 and above-- obese.
Diets do not work. 99% of people gain the weight back. Here is how it works. No one teaches the animal what to eat and what not to eat. He knows instinctively what to eat. Humans also have the same instinct. The way it works is just eat whatever tastes good and that will be healthy for you and non-fattening. That is why a baby tastes everything. So again whatever tastes good, is good for you. This is why you will spit out spoiled milk.

But wait!!! Man has the technology to create rat poison. It tastes like healthy food (good taste) but kills the rat. So man has done that to you. Note- any food unaltered by man (uncooked) that tastes good, is good for you. So if you are stranded in the woods, that is how you know what to eat (cooking changes that). So man has created fake fruit. It tastes like fruit that exists in nature but it is terrrible for health, addictive and fattening called sweets.

So it is natural to like real sweets called fruit, like a baby does, but they have fooled you just the rat. But they do not want to kill you. They want you to become obese so you will buy lots of their foods. This is called GOOD BUSINESS. Too big in comparison to who and what? In terms of age and height, you could probably lose a few pounds. It might be healther.
135-65lbs is an average for age 35 - 45 with your height.

I an 5'6 and 160...I I need to lose 20 lbs....so yes 190 is overweight

I think if your comfortable in your own skin, and wear the appropriate clothing and look confiedent to be who you are, size and shape really dont matter to much. beauty is reflected from confiedence! but for you to ask that question, you must know the answer is that you aren't comfortable, so work your *** off to get there!
