I am dating a Middle Eastern man who claims he loves me very much. We have discussed marriage, but he says when the time is right. I want to give someone the specifics (someone who is M.E. or a Black woman).

They do marry black women but be sure he does not already have a wife in middle east or elsewhere. If he truly desires to respect and honor you he will make your relationship legitimate. No offense but make sure he is not using you for his physical pleasure by dangling marriage. There is also a tendency among the middle eastern to desire fair skinned women so it depends.

I had a friend that was engaged to a man from Middle Eastern decent for 3 years. They were so in love. However he was already promise in a arranged marriage(note she was not aware of that). He was hoping to break tradition, however his family and tradition was stronger than their love.
