I reckon that he was definitely dropping the hint. However, someone who needs to use the net to convey such feelings is not mature enough to be having sex. He could have found it arousing just asking the questions, maybe that was all he wanted. Also, how well do you know this person? If a stranger, is that the sort of convo. you would have normally?

He might have been having sex (masturbating) as you talked. As long as you do not give him any way of contacting you it is fairly harmless. You might even enjoy it yourself if he is imaginative enough. You must be fairly young to ask this question, it kind of naive.
