ok my dad grounded me and tommarrow my friends get to go to the mall and i have to stay home and i didnt do anything

Im sure you did something that bothered him, otherwise why would he have grounded you......parents dont do that sort of thing for nothing.
Did you ever think that ,maybe, he doesnt want you going to the mall with your friends for a reason.....sit down talk to him, RATIONALLY, and ask him to tell you the reasons why he grounded you in the first place, listen to what he has to say and give it some thought. Parents are parents for a reason. Have some respect.

He grounded you for a reason, I'm sure. The mall will be there another time. You know, that's what us parents do, try to find ways to make your lives miserable.

Wouldn't it be better if you told us the whole story? Alot of us are parents and we just don't decide on a whim to ground our children for no reason. What you consider nothing, is often a pretty big deal to us parents. I'm sorry, but your dad is probably right on this one and if you don't know what you did, why don't you simply ask him?

There's got to be more to it. Were you being sassy? Were you being disrespectful? Does he want to keep you from going to the mall because there are bad influences there and this is how he does it?
Parents will be the ones held accountable for our childrens actions both here and to God. We do what we think is best. Contrary to what you are thinking we don't have a hidden agenda to make your life miserable! :)
Think about it.
What are his intentions?
He just wants whats best for you, try to be understanding.

Probably not. Don't worry, you'll be 18 and off to college before you know it. One day you'll look back and reminisce about the times when your biggest problem was not being allowed to go to the mall with your friends.

well parents are crazy..but they don't just randomly ground u, so you obviously did something and just having realized it yet and the mall can be visited any other time, don't over exaggerate, it's not worth it

you shouldn't be upset for this. probably your dad is acting fair of what you did. but consider this. there will be many more changes that you will have in the future; therefore you shouldn't be worried for going to mall.

I don't know what you did but parents are there just to make your life miserable they are there to raise you properly so you can be a good little member of our society. If it seems he is unfair tell him respectfully and ask him why but to me it sounds like he is just doing his JOB.

It's for the time you did something and didn't get caught. Your dad obviously think he's helping you, and he's showing his love through discipline, even though it doesn't feel like it. Be glad that you are someone whose dad doesn't care.
