"La vita e' bella" means "life is beautiful." "La bella vita" means "the beautiful life" or, for a looser translation, "the good life" (as in "lifestyles of the rich and famous").

In Italian it's required to use the definite article, which is unlike English. So, to say "My red house" you have to say "La mia casa rosa" in Italian. That means, really, My Red House, but if you translate it ~very~ literally it means "the my red house", but it's proper Italian. As I like to say, Italian is not a translation of English, it is it's own language. So, proper is "La Vita.....", but you could say "Vita e' bella" and few people would give you a hard time - it's more lyrical, IMO. Another example of requirements: In English you'll say, "I think I'll go", but in Italian it's required to use "that" - "I think THAT I will go". The meaning is the same, the languages just have different rules.

Hi!
"La Vita é Bella" means "LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL"
and
"La bella vita" means "THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE"
In both cases, "BELLA" is the adjective. It is just used in a different way.
In Italian "La bella vita" is a more common expression and it is used more.
"La vita é bella" is a little more explanatory and it is used when you are going to elaborate more.
Goodluck!

Maybe the 'beauty of life'; the 'la' and the 'e' being the difference.
