Good things?

Well, it's a pretty big place. Did you want something about the "things" in the world? Or the state of the world? Politics? What?........

I'll tell you something good that happened today. I went to go out and clean my dogs kiddy pool. It was all full of leaves and stuff. It was too heavy for me to lift up and tip over, (filled to the top cause it rained last night finally) anyway, I grabbed a bucket and started to scoop out the water until I got it low enough I could just tip the pool over. While I was scooping out water, I scooped up a tree frog who had apparently made the dogs pool his home. He jumped to the ground. As I could now turn the rest of the water out without the use of the bucket. I noticed he had a family living in there. Mom and the kids. It was cool. So, I cleaned it out, and filled it back up. I just went out to check on them. They prefer the dirty watery puddles I made with the old pool water. They won't get back in the pool yet.

So what's so good about all of this? In today's world friend, that is full of strife, troubles and pain. Good things/Happiness can be found in the "simple" things. The way your dog loves you. The rabbit eating across the way in the field. The family of tree frogs living in a dirty puddle in my backyard. A sunset. Look for the good, no the glorious wonders that are there for everyone to see but seldom get noticed. Once you start taking notice of these little "good" things, I promise you, the rest of the world does become bearable.

I realize daily that God has a sense of humor when I watch my dogs-they are very funny. Each time thye see me, it is a joyous reunion, even though I might have been gone less than a minute.

Another good thing is viewing nature every day. I have died twice & come back, knowing that there are very few things in this world that are truly that important. Sometimes silence is truly golden, especially in this tech world.
