start by choosing ripe long stem strawberries, you'll need at least a bar of semisweet or bittersweet chocolate( i've tried lindt and it's pretty good!) .If you don't own a double boiler you can use two different sized pans as a makeshift one.fill the larger one with water place on stove, medium heat will do ,and put the chocolate after you broke it into pieces in the smaller one.Get the smaller pan inside the water containing one and allow the chocolate to melt .You need to be monitoring the melting process so as not to burn your chocolate. Also be careful not to have any water fall inside your chocolate pan. After your chocolate is fully melted dip one strawberry at a time by holding them from the stems. Place covered strawberries on preferably a pastry rack, a plate will do too, let the chocolate harden, put them in your fridge.Don't leave inside fridge for too long they taste best when freshly made and cooled off.Good luck and have fun.(It seems harder than it actually is!)

Very easily....melt your chocolate using either a double boiler or 2 pots. One pot with simmering water the other on top of that with the chocolate in it. When the chocolate is melted....roll the strawberries in it. You can also add a splash of grand marnier (just a little you do not want to thin the chocolate too much) or a smidge of any flavoring agent or extract you like. I find that a citrus flavoring works well with strawberries. You can even get creative and then roll the still wet strawberries in nuts or sprinkles. Yum.

In a fry pan add one bottle of balsamic vinegar on medium heat and cook until reduced by one half.
Add 1 tsp vanilla and 1 cup grated milk chocolate bar to the pan with heat turned off.
Pour into heated bowl and dip rinsed off strawberries with stems and tops still attached.

Sometimes I add a few grinds of pepper or an orange rind to the balsamic vinegar.

Take a pot and put water in it. take another pot just smaller then the pot with water in it. Put that inside the pot with water and put chocolate in that one. When melted dip the strawberries into the chocolate. Do not put the chocolate in a pot directly on the flame. It will scorch. You need to use the double boil method. You get better tempature control.

I melt semi sweet morsels like you use for chocolate chip cookies. Then I dip the berries and let cool on wax paper.
