i had an experience a while ago and was wondering if it was normal. i smoked and the effects were very powerful. i was very disoriented and i was very spacey. i also was blacking out and the only way i snapped out of those black outs was when my friend talked to me. it felt like i was lteraly in a dream. i also was very into my head and my thoughts none of which made sense. we wee only a couple blocks away from my house, and if it werent for my friend i would not have been able to fing my way back. eventualy we got in my house and it looked like my house but it also looked very different. i was also having auditory hallucinations. i heard the hum of the refrigerator and i was deep in my thoughts and it began to turn in to a catchy tune. but then i kind of shook my head and i realized what it was. i am also on zoloft and was wondering if any of these effects were normal. it seemed like a normal high but it seemed to be much more intesified by the zoloft. rhis was my first time smoking

It could just be that you are really sensitive. A friend of mine sat in the corner and thought he was a strawberry the first time he ever did it. The zoloft could be a factor. Some people are not meant to be potheads and looks like you could be one of those people. That's a good thing...go with it.

Okay, I am not a pot smoker, but pot is not supposed to have any serious hallucinogenic properties. It could be a drug interaction with the zoloft, or the drug you took could have been laced with something else. Some dealers do this to entice their customers into purchasing the more addictive and more expensive 'products'.

Don't smoke pot while on the zoloft until you've spoken about it to your doctor, and make sure that your pot isn't laced, and even better, just don't do drugs (but I guess that is a stretch).
Good luck, and feel better.

Sounds like a good high to me. Yes, being on Zoloft can intensify the effects of alcohol and drugs. Something you need to consider as well is the fact that drugs and alcohol counteract the effects of the Zoloft. So, basically if you do drugs everyday taking the Zoloft won't work. You need to make a decision about which one is more important to you because if you trully need the Anti-depressant then you can't be smokin dude!

You should never smoke take a drug while you are on such a powerful medication. The HTZ in the weed causes adverse effects in the Zoloft and that's why you were having the hallucinations. But normally weed just makes you alittle more analytical and hungry so don't do that anymore.

You should be smnoking instead of the zoloft. You can't take an anti-deoressant and then smoke another depressant. Of course you're zonked. You have to smoke much much less...or get off that crap Zoloft. The same as drimnking on Zoloft....You're doubling up on the woozies...

some people hear and see things while on marijuana

or you could have had a wierd reaction with the zoloft, but usually marijuana is the most benign drug, it doesnt really react with prescription meds....

it sounds like you just had a really intense high, if you are anxious try smoking a little less.

I remember my first times I smoked it was SUPER intense....

Maybe pot is not for you. Amost all pot smokers quit after a while because they become paranoid and that is not fun. Some pot smokers go sciztophrenic, l have known four people who have. lf l was you l would not smoke pot, lt starts of as fun but then lt stuffs your life and possibly your mind. Also the first time you smoke pot you don't get stoned.

It's not normal but you might want to ask your friend where he got the weed from. If he's a regular pot head then he should know his stuff. If your on medication it may interact with it. You should ask your Doctor. People get "high" differently and at different levels. That may be your high..a little scary

The first couple times you smoke (and after that) usually the effects of smoking pot are very strong. You probably just smoked ALOT of pot and it was probably good pot. Sometimes (very rarely,) you will get weed that has coke or even LSD on it. That's probably not the case though....you just got really stoned. :)
