Have your husband and sons gather all the cherries off the cherry tree as they can, bring them in the house to you, and you crush all of them in a colander, save all the juice, throw away all the pits, then strain about a quart or more of the juice, heat it for a while to purify it, then mix it with about four cups of sugar and a package of yeast, pour it into a bottle, tie a balloon on top, and let it sit in your closet for a month. Then strain it through some cheesecloth and put it back in a bottle with a topper or a cap and keep it in the fridge. Mine was a little dry so I mixed some sugar and water with it and it's really great and I just finished the bottle and I'm a little high now. Did I make some great hooch or what?
